Joint Inauguration of the 15th Private Sector Meeting for the Promotion of Trade and Joint Venture Investment among Islamic Countries Forum for Businesswomen in Islamic Countries, held in Tehran, Iran on 28th to 30th Oct. 2013

the 15th Private Sector Meeting for the Promotion of Trade and Joint Venture Investment among Islamic Countries Forum for Businesswomen in Islamic Countries, held in Tehran, Iran on 28th to 30th Oct. 2013 member states. Other speeches were delivered on this occasion by:

 

 

  • Mr. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, the vice president of ICCIA,
  • Professor dr. Ekmeledding Ihsanoglu, the Secretary General of OIC,
  • Engineer Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, the Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade in Iran,
  • And Engineer Eshaq Jahangiri, the first Vice President of I.R. of Iran.

All the honorable speakers highlighted the following significant points:

  • The necessity to facilitate trade and Investment through simplification f Intra-OIC trade visas issuance which is currently difficult due to long procedures.
  • Energy exchange among OIC member states
  • Modeling Europe’s development plan after World War II.
  • Recognizing chambers’ responsibilities in promoting cooperation among OIC countries through concluding MoUs, Agreements, and Customs procedure facilitation, tariffs reduction, and providing suitable business climate by creating roles to be played by youth and women, and capacity building.

The inauguration went on by opening the 14th Islamic Trade Fair.
